CLASS RULES:
*Don’t' be upset by the results you didn't get with work you didn't do. *Be in your desk when the bell rings or your tardy. *Don't interrupt anyone's else's learning opportunity. *No cell phones or electronic devices unless you have permission from me. * If you are absent, it is your responsibility to call/text a classmate, email me, check my website, or come see me ahead of time for announcements, assignments, handouts, labs, etc. Consequences: detention, treat you like a middle schooler, call home,meeting with parents and principle. REWARDS: Friday Fun Day, Field Trips CLASS MOTTO If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse. |

1. I am at a meeting today. Be on your BEST behavior. Anyone with less than a 10 for the day will serve detention. One person with a bad report will forfiet Friday Fun day for the whole class. 2. Grab your notebooks. Read all of todays agenda below. Lots to do! 3. Update your Table of Contents (to the right) 4. VIDEO: Speed. Take notes on a blank sheet of paper. When video is over, write a short summary of what you learned. You have 5 minutes. Turn in for a grade. 5. 5 minute break 6. Check out your assigned computer number 7. Complete Page 17 using this Power Point. You may work with a partner as long as you are working. 8. Turn in whatever you have completed by end of class. 9. Acceleration problems page 22 Day 2 Sorry i can't be there today. I am a meeting in Dallas learning how to use our new classroom ipads! Which we should get VERY soon! Grab Your notebook 1. Practice for your test. Complete pages 21 -24 in your notebook. The answer key for these pages can be found HERE. SHould you look at the answer key right now??? NO. Practice only what you need to. If you get the first few problems correct, then move on. Only practice what you need to. The answer key does you NO good if you don't attempt the problems yourself first. DAILY GRADE for today: Did you use your review time effectively? You may use your notebook on the test if you want, but it really won't help you. This is a skills test not a memorizing test. 2. TEST: Speed/graphs Only one person per desk/table/lab bench....SPREAD OUT! If you get anything less than an 85 on this test, you will need more practice of Friday instead of mythbusters. |

This week is final exam study week. i will be giving random post quizzes during the week that are representative of your final exam.
Final Exam GRADE: 50% Notebook 50% Written Test from study guide Day 1, 2 and 3 1. Energy presentations 2. Create a study guide using your notebook and study guide graphic organzier. Original study guide MUST STAY IN CLASS in your notebook, however, you may scan and print a copy to take home with you to study. You may also scan to your email account so you can study via your phone or computer. (i will show you how to do this) 3. You will only be able to use your equation sheet, college success sheet and any graphic organizer you create on your exam. Possible holiday party on day of exam-I will bake you coookies;) : |
